Jean Shadix

Jean Shadix, age 80, of Birmingham, passed away February 3, 2010. She was retired from YMCA and was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Shadix, parents Hollis and Margaret Scoggins, and sister Margaret Rickles. Services will be on Saturday Feb 6, at 10am in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 5 until 7pm Friday. She is survived by her daughter Cathy Carter, son Steve (Kim) and Rick (Kathy) Shadix, grandchildren David Shadix, Janna Shadix, Garrett Carter, Aidan Carter, Michael Harris and Keith Harris, great grandchildren Andrew Harris, Anna Catherine Harris, and Victoria Gould.
