Jean Buckner

Ms. Jean H Buckner, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 27, 2022. The family will receive friends at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, Alabama Friday, April 1, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 12:00PM in the Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00PM and Graveside Services will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, Alabama.

She is survived by her daughter, Alison Buckner; sons, Chuck Cureton, and Fred Cureton (Debbie); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Ms. Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Buckner; daughter, Debbie Oglesby; parents, Vernon and Mildred Heath, and sisters, Mary Francis Nelson (Raymond), Sara Campbell (Don).

She was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and loved to tend to her garden and praise the Lord. Jean was loved by all who knew her and will be missed dearly.
