Janie Cordle

Janie Mae Hollingsworth Cordle, 82 years of age, passed on to be with our Lord on Thursday, September 25, 2008. She was born on May 20, 1926 in Jefferson County AL. She was a member of New Hope Free Spirit Church. She was the daughter of the late A.J. and Amanda Jane (Smith) Hollingsworth. Services will be on Saturday Sept 27 at 10am in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation from 5 until 7pm Friday. Pastor David Long officiating. She is survived by her son Charles (Heather) Cordle of Trussville, sisters Margaret Rowena H. Pugh of Birmingham, and Sarah H. Steeley of NC, brothers Jerry A. Hollingsworth of Denver CO and John R. Hollingsworth of Trussville, grandchildren Chris, Renee, K.C. and Samantha Cordle, many nieces and nephews. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
