Jane Morton

Jane Anderson Morton, age 68, of Bradford, AL died March 2, 2011 at St. Vincent's East after a brief illness. As a servant to our Lord, she has received her promotion to Heaven. She was retired from the Social Security Administration and a member of Bradford Sanctuary of Praise. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Smiley Anderson and her mother, Annabelle Dawson. Jane is survived by her husband, Larry G. Morton; son, Dr. Keith Morton, wife Cindy and children Jasha and McKayla Vaughn, Tori and Abbi Morton; son, Ken Morton, wife Penelope and children Kenzie, Madalyn, and Drew Morton; daughter, Karmen Morton Fischbach and her son Micah Fishbach; sisters, Carmen Rooker and husband Gene, Nancy Downs and husband Ernest, many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved church family, many friends and her traveling companions, Jimmie and Cindy McAnnally, Bobby and Wanda Meadows, and Richard and Linda Marlow. The funeral will be Friday, March 4, 2011 at 1:00PM at Bradford Sanctuary of Praise with viewing for friends at 11:00AM until 1:00PM. Rev.Carson Fagan and Rev. Lee Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jane's Church located at 8294 Bradford Road, Pinson AL 35126. The family extends special thanks to the Doctors Wilson, Maddox, Ross, and Sykes along with the nursing staff for room 443 and the SICU at St. Vincent's Hospital for their excellent service to our wife and mother.
