James "Jim" "Jimmy" Williamson, Jr.

In Memory of Mr. James “Jim”, “Jimmy” M. Williamson Jr.  age 78, of Pinson, AL passed away on Sunday, July 4th 2021. He was born in Fayette County, Alabama on February 23rd, 1943 to James and Ara Lee Williamson. Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lee Blaylock Williamson, his parents, James and Ara Lee Williamson and one sister, Betty Joy Williamson. Jim is survived by one son, Billy Williamson and his wife, Glenda of Gardendale, AL; a nephew, Andy Murphy of Okeechobee, FL, one sister, Judy H. Hubbert (Thealon) of Hubbertville, AL. His very best friend, Patsy Lentz of Argo, AL.  Jim is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Sara Beth and Daniel H. Williamson, his grand nieces and nephews, a host of friends, love ones and his church family. Jim is a veteran serving in the Navy and is a proud Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Golden Flake with more than 30 years of service. The family will receive friends Friday, July 9, 2021 beginning at 1:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Birmingham followed with a 2:00 PM Funeral Service in the Chapel of Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, burial within Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
