James Wells

James R. Wells, Jr. age 44 of Trussville passed away on January 29, 2009. Jim graduated from Corner High School and from St. Vincent's School of Nursing. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Trussville and a volunteer firefighter with Trussville Fire and Rescue. Jim was a Registered Nurse with 21 years of service at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham. He was preceded in death by his parents, James R. Wells, Sr. and Wilma M. Wells. Survivors include his wife, Cathy; their daughters, Alana and Alyson; sisters, Susan Wells and Janice Motte (Jacky); sister in law, Cheryl Pathasema (Sam); brother in law, David Crump (Sandy) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2 from 5:00 i�½" 8:00 at First Baptist Church in Trussville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 3 at 2PM with Rev. James Long officiating at First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Gardendale. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to "Amigo Fund" at Just Cats Veterinarian Clinic, your favorite local animal shelter; Alabama School of Fine Arts or Red Mountain Theatre Company.
