James Waldrop Sr.

James R. Waldrop passed from this life on December 12, 2019. He was retired from ACIPCO and was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church for more than 50 years where he and his wife Betty Jo were founding members of the Loyalty Sunday School Class. James was a Korean War Veteran serving in the Air Force and coached Little League at the Huffman Youth Park for many years. James was preceded in death by his first wife Betty Jo Woods Waldrop, parents Eugene and Nellie Waldrop,sister Martha Roberts and brother in law Jim Blackstock. Chapel service will be on Wednesday at 2pm with visitation one hour before services. He is survived by his wife Betsy Waldrop, sons Richard Waldrop (Maureen), Steven Waldrop (Allison), step daughters Carma Lardent, and Dana Lardent, grandchildren Jessica Thompson (Scott), Mallory Waldrop (Louis), Isaac Waldrop, sister Ann Blackstock, brothers in law Paul Roberts, Tom Woods III, and a host of extended family. Memorials may be made to the Huffman United Methodist Church or the Loyalty Sunday School Class.
