James Stewart

James M. Stewart age 73 passed from this life on January 15, 2015. Born in Alexander City Alabama, He attended Woodlawn High School, The University of Alabama and worked 35 years in the dry cleaning business. He was preceded in death by his parents Sara and Jay Stewart. Survivors include his loving wife and best friend of 51 years Nancy Stewart, one daughter Beth Stewart Gilbert (Greg), one son Brian Stewart (Leigh Ann) and two grandchildren he adored Lea Grace Gilbert and Alden Casey. His greatest joy in life was time spent with his loving family, friends and Alabama football. Jim was a good, kind man and always generous sharing his time to anyone in need. He truly was the best husband, father and grandfather. We will miss him more than words can express but know that he is resting in peace with his Lord and Savior. Visitation will be on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 5 to 7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Tuesday at 10 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. The burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Father Andrew Kennedy will be officiating over the service. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
