James Miller

James D. C. Miller, age 84 of Pinson, AL, passed away August 15, 2011. He was a member of Green Station Baptist Church of Pinson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy & Katie Miller and his wife of 58 years, Frances Miller. He is survived by his sister, Rennie Miller Neason and brother, Jerry Miller. He was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army; he served in WWII and the Vietnam War and proudly served our country 20 years until his retirement. He also served in the Air National Guard. He then worked and retired as a Bailiff for Jefferson County Sherriff's Department. He was a member of the VFW and the Zamora Temple Shriners. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August, 20, 2011 at 12:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, AL with Leonard Estes officiating. Visitation is from 11:00AM-12:00PM Military Honors will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville.
