James Mcalpin

James Hoyet McAlpin, age 88 of Jasper, AL passed away on April 29, 2015. He is formerly of Birmingham, AL. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Louis and Elbert McAlpin, his daughters, Glenda Putman and Deborah Bailey and his wife, Katie Mae McAlpin. He is survived by his children, Darwin McAlpin, Karan Smothers, Dennis McAlpin (Karen), Donna Collum and Melissa Hanks (Harold); sister, Doris V. Landers; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Services will be on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. The burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
