James Mabrey

James Curtis Mabrey of Cullman, AL, age 91, went to be with the Lord on December 10th 2018. James was a member of the Seventh Street Baptist Church in Cullman, AL.

James was a loyal employee of Exchange Security that is now known as Regions bank for over forty years. James started his career as a clerk in the bookkeeping department. He retired in 1990 as Vice President of Regions (then First Alabama Bank). For 25 years James served on the Jimmy Hale Mission board as their treasure. James was also a lifetime member of the Masons.

James was preceded in death by his first son, Randy Franklin Mabrey. James was survived by his soulmate Ernestine Grimes Mabrey, his daughter Karen Sharp (Clark), and Son James Ronald Mabrey "Ronnie". Granddaughters Tracey Pentenbrick (Kenneth), Stacey Allen (Brad), and Danielle Kennedy (Bryan), Grandson Austin Sharp Great-grandchildren: Emily Anne Kerr, Bradley Jay Allen "BJ", and Hadley Grimes Kennedy.

The family will receive friends at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home from 10am to Noon on December 12, 2018. Funeral service to follow with a brief graveside.
