J. Blake Loveless, 35, of Birmingham, Alabama, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. He is survived by his parents, Elaine Self and James “Pepper” Loveless; his son, Isaiah Rain Loveless, whom he loved with his entire being; and his girlfriend, Janice Cardwell; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. After graduating Homewood High School, Blake received his degree from Full Sail. He was Technical Director/Senior Audio Engineer at Canterbury United Methodist Church in Mountain Brook. Not only did Blake have an excellent reputation in engineering and event production, touring with top musicians, but he was known as a prolific singer/songwriter. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018, at 12 o’clock pm at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. Rev. Gary Cardwell will officiate. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Blake’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Children’s Hospital in honor of Isaiah Loveless.
