James Johnson

James C. Johnson was born to Will and Priscilla Johnson at Vernon, Alabama. He served in the US Navy for 2 years stationed in San Diego, CA. He worked for Chevron Oil Company as a sales rep for several years before owning and operating 3 facilities himself. He married Evelyn G. Johnson "Jerri" on July 26, 1958. His biggest joy was buying a motor home and traveling the US, Alaska, and Nova Scotia. He is survived by his wife Evelyn Johnson, children James C. Johnson Jr. (Abbie), Jennifer Smith (Ken), and Joel A. Johnson (Elizabeth), grandchildren Brandon Johnson, Brett Johnson, Lauren Newman, Thea Smith, Karlee Smith, Morgan Allen and Madison Johnson, and 3 great grandchildren Ava, Claire, and Charlie. Chapel services will be held on Wednesday, Aug 5 at 10am with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 9am until 10am Wednesday. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
