James Hunt

James Leo Hunt, age 90 of Centerpoint passed away on August 23, 2008. He was a member of Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church and a former member of West Woodlawn United Methodist Church. Leo was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 60 years and was a Past Master of East Birmingham Masonic Lodge. He retired from Chicago Bridge and Iron Company after 42 years of service. Funeral services will be held at Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 26, 2008. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of service. Rev. Neil Culberson and James Calhoun officiating. Visitation will be at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Trussville on Monday August 25, 2008 from 5:00-7:00pm, with interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.

Leo is survived by his wife of 68 years, Louise; daughters: Susan Palmer (Joe) of Birmingham and Debbie Lawrence (Richard) of Germantown, TN; grandchildren: Julie Palmer Carroll (Phillip) of Trussville, Amy Palmer Gash (John) of Pelham, Jenny Lawrence DeAngelis (Michael) of Lakeland, FL, and Matthew Lawrence of Germantown, TN; Great grandchildren: Jacob Reid of Trussville and Lauren Gash of Pelham.
