James Gibson

James Roscoe Gibson, age 72, passed away on May 21, 2009. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from H.N. Donahoo Contracting Company after 32 years of service. James is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Gibson; two daughters, Misty Gibson and Susan Korth; three sisters, Grace Vaughn, Margaret (James) O'Brien, and Mary (Gene) Jones; one brother, Taylor (Joy) Gibson; two grandchildren, Rachel Korth and Katie Korth; and his best friend, Roscoe. For those who knew him, James will always be remembered for his laughter, love, and generosity. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Trinity Medical Center for all of their care and concern.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
