James Elliott

James B. Elliott "J.B.", age 83 of Trussville, AL passed away on May 11, 2015. He was a member of Huffman Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and taught Sunday school. He retired from the National Weather Service after 32 years of service, where he received many awards for his work during severe weather events. He was a member of the Weather Company. He was in the wedding photography business for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas and Alvah Elliott and his sister, Grace Elliott. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy Elliott; children, Steven Elliott and Debra Broome (Robert); grandchildren, Sara, Katelyn, Stephanie, Amanda, Ben, and Alex; great grandchildren, Brandon, Anna, Kayleigh, and Mark; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 12 to 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial. The burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Larry Smith will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
