James Duke

James Welcome Duke, age 75 of Clay, AL passed away on March 23, 2016. He was a member of Trussville First United Methodist Church, where he enjoyed the Men's Club. He is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Marie Duke and his brother, Wayne Duke. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Duke; daughter, Donna Duke Prudhomme (Sam); sisters, Margaret Hardin (Junior) and Marie Tallent (Randal); brother, Frank Duke (Joan); grandchildren, Griffin, Maddie and Alex Prudhomme. Services will be on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 12 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Mark Lacey and Rev. Nancy Hornsby will be officiating over the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Trussville First United Methodist Church.
