James Harold Bullock

On Tuesday, October 27, 2020, James Harold Bullock passed away at the age of 91.
James was born March 27, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama. He served in the Navy for two years and was honorably discharged on February 25, 1948. Later he went to work for South Central Bell/BellSouth for 35 years. He married Ruby Gober on June 20, 1949 and raised three sons.
He loved to hunt and later in life just enjoyed feeding the deer that came around his lake house, and Alabama football. He also loved to watch the grandchildren and great grandchildren enjoy his lake house.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby, stepfather, Dexter, mother, Ollie Mae, and brother Walter. He is survived by his three children, Gary, Mike, and Kenny, and his sister Helen Henderson. Grandchildren are Brad Bullock (Stephanie) Brittany Culp (Robin), Jeremy Wright, Jon Wright (Danya), Brett Bullock, and Blake Bullock. Great Grandchildren are Hannah Bullock, Hayden Bullock, Logan Culp, Landon Culp, Lynlee Wright, Will Wright, Cameron Bullock, Chase Bullock, Carter Bullock, Breanna Bullock, Isabell Bullock, Brennon Bullock.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2, at Jefferson Memorial at 12 noon. Visitation is from 11-12.
