James Brown

James W. Brown, age 77, of Dawson, AL passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014. He was a member of Gardendale First Baptist. He was employed by Mitchell Groceries' as a Produce Merchandiser; he retired after over 30 years of service. James was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Brown; brother, Calvin Brown; one grandson, Shane McReath. He is survived by, his four daughters, Danette Thompson, Regina Pridmore, Jessica Frey, and Amy Asaro (Chris); one sister, Millie Hunt (Tommy); eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter. His funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 8th at Jefferson Memorial Chapel at 2pm with visitation from 12pm until 2pm. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville.
