James Brand

James Andrew "Drew" Brand, age 29, of Margaret, passed away on July 30, 2012. Drew attended the University of Alabama, before starting his professional career. He was an avid outdoorsman, and especially loved kayaking, fishing, and camping. Drew also enjoyed Braves baseball and Alabama football, but preferred Auburn tailgating. Drew was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roy Adkins. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Gasque Brand; parents, Mike and Pam Brand; sister, Rebecca Redmond (Nathan); father- and mother-in-law, Benny and Vickie Gasque; grandparents, J.B. and Betty Brand; grandmother, Sara Adkins; grandmothers-in- law, Fran Richards and Opal Gasque; brothers-in-law, Justin Gasque (Alisha) and Jason Gasque (Susan); and a host of nieces, nephew, and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012, from 9:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M., at First Baptist Church of Trussville, with services immediately following at 11:30 A.M.
