James Blair

James Jay Blair, age 65 of Vestavia, AL passed away on April 4, 2015. He was a member of the Church of the Highlands and past member of Brookwood Baptist Church. He was a true sportsman, and was involved in several different organizations, such as the Alabama Clay Busters and the National Association of Sporting Clays. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen "Keen" Blair; daughters, Lindsey Blair Woods (Aaron) and Natalie Blair Bogle (Nic); parents, Ruth and James Blair; sister, Joleen Sutton (Gary); grandchildren, Zoe Woods, Nathaniel Woods, and Callie Bogle; mother-in-law, Gladys Ashcraft; sisters-in-law, Margaret Hajek (Bob) and Jody Johnson (Leonard); brother-in-law, Bryce Ashcraft (Monica); several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, at 2pm at Church of the Highlands in the theatre, with visitation from noon until 2pm Saturday.
