James Billups

James T. Billups, age 88, of Trussville, passed away January 2, 2011. He was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church and a Mason. He was a World War II veteran serving overseas for 4 years with the Air Force. He retired from Goodall-Brown Dry Goods Company in Birmingham after 40 years of service. Services will be on Wednesday Jan 5, at 12pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Dr. Harris Hand and Reverend Jack Gibson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. He is survived by his wife Lorene Billups, daughter Pam B. (John) Floyd, grandchildren Ryan Floyd and Alex Floyd, numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Huffman United Methodist Church, 711 Gene Reed Road Birmingham, AL 35235. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
