James Franklin Anthony passed through the veil on February 19, 2012 at the age of 77. Mr. Anthony was from Trussville and a 46 year member of the First United Methodist Church Trussville. He served with the 926th Engineering Battalion in the U.S. Army and retired from Brasfield and Gorrie General Contractors in 1993 as Partner/Executive Vice President with 29 years service. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Marilyn Monette Anthony; three children, Alan Anthony (Celia), Laura Anthony Knighton (Freddy) and Adrianne Anthony Egan (Tom); six grandchildren, Grace Anthony, James F. Anthony II, Nicole Knighton, Anthony Knighton, Noah Egan and Jessica Egan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at First United Methodist Church Trussville with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service beginning at 3:00 PM.
