Jake Blevins

Jake Thomas Blevins, age 21 months of Trussville, AL passed away on June 15, 2009. Jake was a precious boy who's strength and will to live showed us what the true meaning of life is. His spirit brought us together as a family and taught us to appreciate life. He never know how long we have here and seeing our son enjoy himself despite his hardships gave us a new meaning to the words "love life." That is his legacy. Love life always. Jake is survived by his loving parents, Chad and Kristy Blevins; sister, Amelia Blevins all of Trussville, AL; grandparents, Peggy and Larry Blevins, Anthony Womack, and Glenda and Michael Abts; great grandparents, Waylon and Mary Womack and Glennis Broyles; a host of loving friends and other family members. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held at 12:00PM, Thursday, June 18 with burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Reverend Jackie Connell will be officiating the services.
