Jack Stryker Mundy - August 06. 1997 – September 04 , 2021, Graduated Vestavia High School in 2016. Senior @ University of Alabama – Tuscaloosa, AL – scheduled to graduate December 2021.  Member Church of the Highlands. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: James Robert Mundy, Jr. and Francine Stryker Atcheson. Great grandparents: James Robert Mundy, Sr. and Clara Mundy. Great grandparents: James and Frances Stryker. Uncles: Gary and Jimmy Stryker. Maternal grandparents: Shirley and Ted Matsunaga, Charles and Vivian Phillips, Levi and Sylvia Martin. Survived by father: James Robert (Bo) Mundy, 111; (Laurie Mayson), Vestavia Hills, AL. Mother: Terri Phillips Mundy; Vestavia, AL. Sister: Katherine (Katie) A. Mundy, Bluff Park, AL. Uncle: Chris M. Mundy (Amanda), Chelsea, AL. Cousins: Summer Mundy, Chelsea, AL; Shannon Bruce (Stephanie), Leeds, AL; Johnny Bruce (Joanna), Leeds, AL; Kelli Coleman (Matt), Trussville, AL; Jimmy Frizzell, Destin, FL; Great Aunt: Orlean Bruce, Trussville, AL; and numerous other loving relatives. Jack was passionate about Alabama football. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing, and spending time at Lake Martin with family, friends, and his beloved companion, his dog, Woodford. Jack was a loving, gentle, and kind soul whose laughter and love will be missed by many. The Chapel @ Church of the Highlands: 4700 Highlands Way, Irondale, AL 35210, will be the location for visitation @ 11:00 am until 12 noon on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 with the service following at 12 noon.
