J Kemp

J C was born in Steens, Mississippi and passed away in Birmingham, Alabama at the age of 87. He was a charter member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, Trussville since 1956 where he was a Sunday School Teacher, an usher and an inactive deacon. He retired from Norfolk Southern RR after 43 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pleasant Wilson Kemp and Georgie Lucille Freeman Kemp; and sister, Fosteen Kemp Gartman. J C is survived by his wife, Virginia Maxine Hendon Kemp; a daughter, Wanda Faye Kemp; 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 5-7pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:00am at Jefferson Memorial Chapel burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Bro. Ric Camp will be officiating. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
