Irene Lanning

Irene Lanning, age 76, of Trussville, AL died peacefully on April 16. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl; parents: James and Bessie Sprayberry, and her sister, Pauline. She was a member of Reed Memorial Baptist Church in Attalla, Alabama. Survivors are two daughters, Debbie (Sam) Collins and Sandy (Charlie) Greene. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Kellie (Dan) Slaughter, Wendy (Brian) Gottfried, Tim (Andrea) Green, and Brian (Tawnysha) Greene and four great grandchildren; Myleigh and Melaina Slaughter, Isabella Greene, and Madison Gottfried, one sister, Nell Hooks, and three brothers, James, Ray, and Eddie Sprayberry. Funeral services will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 10:00AM with burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be Sunday night from 5:00PM-7:00PM. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
