Hubert E. "Jimmy" Price

age 86, of Moody, AL went home to be with Jesus, Friday morning November 8, 2013 at a local hospital. Jimmy is survived by two loving daughters, Donna Price Wilhite (Dewey) and Terry Price Brasher (Harold); one grandson, Dr. Raymond Wilhite (Angela), of Auburn, Alabama; two granddaughters, Donessa Strickland (Jerry) and Christy Blackmon (Darrell); three great granddaughters: Aubree Strickland, Haylee Strickland, and Amelia Wilhite; five great grandsons: Trevor Mann, Trey Mann, Darrell Lee Blackmon "D.J.", Jr., Cash Strickland, and Jack Wilhite; one loving sister, Katie Poe; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Jimmy was loved by everyone who knew him. Jimmy was preceded in death by his loving wife Treicy Brasher Price and His loving Mother Neoma McCombs Nail.

Jimmy served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard. He received honorable discharges from both branches of military service. He retired from Armstrong Insulation Company and Shook and Fletcher Insulation Company. He also was self-employed doing construction work for a number of years.

Jimmy attended Independent Pentecostal Holiness Church of Jefferson Park.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 5:00PM till 7:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. His Funeral service will be at 2:00PM on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Officiating is Aaron Wheatley, Pastor of his church and longtime friend. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Garden East in Trussville.

Pall bearers are: Darrell Blackman, Charles Perry Blount, James Holderfield, Brian Holderfield, Michael Poe, Jeremy Robertson, Dennis "Bubba" Seals, and Jerry Strickland.
