Horace E. Pannell

Horace Edwin Pannell, age 78 of Trussville, AL passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Horace was a member of Clay Baptist Church. He graduated from Hewitt High School and Livingston University. Horace retired from the Jefferson County Board of Education after 32 years of teaching. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lula Pannell and his two brothers, Joseph Pannell and Howard Pannell. Horace is survived by his brothers, Sam Pannell and Don Pannell; sisters, Frances English, Helen Jett (Claude), Martha Salman and Elizabeth Pannell. Horace also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. A visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville on Saturday, February 16th from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Trussville City Cemetery. Brother Kent McClendon is officiating.
