Homer Hamilton

Homer Edward Hamilton, age 84, of Birmingham, was born Dec. 1st, 1926 to Homer and Velma Hamilton, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6th, 2011. He was a member of Del Rio Baptist Church. He was a WWII veteran and was stationed in Otus Honshu, Japan with the U.S. Army. Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by his grandson, Lee; granddaughter, Jenny; brothers, James and Lloyd Hamilton; sisters, Mildred Whitehouse and Myrtle Pender; and parents. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Pearlene Hamilton; sons, Larry Hamilton (Becky), Freddie Hamilton (Deborah) and Frankie Hamilton (Debbie); daughters, Janice Johnson (Lance), Lisa Kilpatrick (Frank), and Rita Morris(Randy); grandchildren, Joy Wright (Jay), Eddy Hamilton, Andy Hamilton (Jessica), Daniel Parsons (Kim), Brian Hamilton (Susan), Kevin Parsons, Wesley Hamilton (Melissa), Chad Hamilton (Kristen), Amanda and Allison Johnson; great grandchildren, Billy Whitlock, Kelsey Hamilton, Jayson Wright, and Tyler Hamilton. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 8th, 2011 at 3:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Sherill officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Garden East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
