Hollis Brown

Hollis Brown, age 77 of Argo, AL passed away on December 2, 2011. He was born in Moundville, AL. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, Argo, AL. He retired from Joy Manufacturing. He worked in his vegetable garden and was always on his tractor. He was always tinkering with something. He was preceded in death by is wife of 48 and half years, Pat Brown and his parents, Les and Nora Brown. He is survived by his children, Dean Brown (Teresa), Kathy Davis (David) and Marion Nabors; siblings, Joseph S. Brown (Peggy), Ann McCarley (Bobby), and Russell Brown (Marjorie); grandchildren, Nick B., Josh B., Justin W., Chris M., Greg M., Scott M., Jackie R., and Jamie D.; a host of great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday, December 5, 2011 from 5 to 7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Dewey Corder will be officiating over the services.
