Herbert Johnston

Herbert Wagner Johnston, age 81, of Birmingham, passed away April 12, 2009. He was a veteran of WWII in the US Army. He was a member of Ashville Road Church of Christ. He was retired as an Electronics Technician from the State of Alabama with 44 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents Fannie Pearl and Roy Johnston, and brother Demp Johnston. Services will be Tuesday, April 14, at 2pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens Trussville. Visitation will be from 1pm until 2pm Tuesday. He is survived by his wife Jo Ann D. Johnston, brother Leon (Leana) Johnston, sister in law Patsy Johnston, sister in law and brother in law Jean and Edward Pesnell, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the Ashville Road Church of Christ.
