Henry Walter Logan born July 8, 1952 in Birmingham passed away February 21, 2001 in Port Townsend Washington. Only child of Jonas and Ruby Logan Walter was raised in the Huffman neighborhood of Birmingham. The graduate of Huffman High school Walter attended the University of Alabama where he received his BS in psychology as well as a law degree from Birmingham School of law. Walter was an avid flyer receiving his pilots license while still in high school. Walter lived in practice law in Pell city until 2015 when he moved to Washington state.. he is survived by his partner Richard Tucker; Cousin Carol Weiser in Denver and many friends; his beloved dog, Nipper.  In lieu of flowers, it is requested that gifts be made in his honor to the Steel City Men’s Chorus of Birmingham. A graveside service will be held Saturday February 27 at 11 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
