Helen Gray Sessions, age 86, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama went to be with The Lord on June 23, 2020.

She was born on January 25, 1934 in Worth County, Georgia by her parents Arthur and Mary Frances Gray. Helen had 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Helen was a mother to more than just her children. She was a kind soul that would take care of anyone that found their way to her. She also had a cat, Trouble, who would never leave her side. Her main hobby was gardening. She was always excited about new blooms and would make sure to show you each new flower.

She is preceded in her death by her parents, Arthur and Mary Frances Gray; brother, Welton “Buddy” Gray; sisters, Lenora Wood, Myrtice Spring and Lois Spring.

She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Crew; daughter, Donna Cooper; son, Scott Sessions; grandchildren, Grace Sessions, Blair, Gaines, Miller and Jason Cooper, Heather Little, Boston Yeager and Brandon Thomas.

She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and was not afraid to meet her maker. She is finally home.
