Helen Hamilton

Helen Marie Finch Hamilton, age 87, of Fultondale passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at UAB Hospital.

Mrs. Hamilton was a graduate of Corner High School, Class of 1953. She was a lifelong businesswoman, and greatly enjoyed the years she spent working as an accountant,

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Olen and Maggie Finch of Dora, AL; husband, William (Bill) Hamilton of Dora, AL; brothers Flavous Finch of Hayden, AL, and Jack Finch of Tuscaloosa, AL; sister Mava J. Finch Holloway of Forestdale, AL; niece Tracey Finch Smith of Birmingham, AL; and nephew Manly M Finch of Forestdale, AL.

She is survived by her sister, Janice Finch Stewart (Jerry) of Forestdale, AL; brother James Finch (Peggy) of Hartselle, AL; nephews Mark Holloway (Shannon) of Graysville, AL; Russ Finch of Nashville, TN; niece Katie Finch Byrd (Greg) of Hartselle, AL; great nieces Bradleigh Smith Heady (Nick) of Birmingham, AL; Tracey Elizabeth Lott, Aubrey Grace Lott, Allie Byrd, Dailee Byrd, and Macie Byrd of Hartselle, AL.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 24, at 2:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville in the Garden of the Good Shepherd. Dr. Herbert Thomas will preside. Friends and family are invited to attend, and are asked to please wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
