Helen Garrison

Helen V. Garrison of Birmingham, AL passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the age of 94.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Alvin Garrison as well as her parents, Bruce and Lilly Vernon, and her three siblings Frank Vernon, James Vernon, and Mildred Webb.  She is survived by her children Michael Garrison (Brenda), Larry Garrison, Randy Garrison, Raymond Garrison, Anita Phillips (David), and Linda Garrison as well as her grandchildren Amber, Jeff, Brian, Beth, and Robbie Garrison, Megan and Ethan Phillips, Zack Cobb, and several great-grandchildren.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and cherished the time spent with her loved ones.

Helen was a faithful member of Huffman church of Christ for over 25 years. Before that she worshipped at Clay church of Christ and Trussville church of Christ. Her sweet smile and words of kindness and encouragement will be missed.
