Helen Cox

Helen Mayer Cox, age 80, of Hoover, AL passed away on February 6, 2017. She retired from AmSouth Bank after serving as Senior Vice President. She was a member of North Park Baptist Church. Her funeral service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, February 10th at 2PM, visitation will be held 2 hours prior. Pastor Matthew Roskam is officiating. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John M. Cox, Sr. and two brothers, Rudy Mayer and Arthur Mayer. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Cox Leddo (John); son, John M. Cox, Jr. (Deloris); grandchildren, Brian Burton (Merritt); Nikki Leddo, Kimberly Clark (Ricky) and Aaron Cox (Kaitlin); four great grandchildren, Ava Burton, Adelyn Cox, Grant Burton and Aaron Jacob Cox; two sisters, Betty Stanford and Elizabeth Edgwoth.
