Harry Wilson

Harry Gunn Wilson, Jr., age 73 of Odenville, AL passed away on July 30, 2015. He was a member of Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. He retired from the Alabama National Guard. He was a member of the Emmaus Community and also worked in advertising with Birmingham News and helped cover High School Football. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry G. Wilson, Sr. and Wilma Pauline "Polly" Wilson, brother, Grady Wilson, sister, Barbara Wilson Emerson and his wife, Charlotte Rebecca "Becky" Wilson. He is survived by his sons, Keith Randal Wilson (Melody) and Kevin Ray Wilson (Beth); sister, Wilma Barber; grandchildren, Scarlett Rhea Wilson, Francisco Rocha, Josiah Rocha and Aurora Rocha. Services will be on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11 AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. The burial will follow at Alabama National Cemetery at 2 PM. Rev. Mike Carver will be officiating over the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of West Alabama. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
