Harry Argo

Mr. Harry Argo, 87, of Birmingham, passed away on December 16, 2016. He was born on July 15, 1929 in Alabama to the late Oscar and Elizabeth Argo. Harry was a truck driver for Ryder/P.I.E. for over 40 years, loved to fish, and vacation at Yellowstone and the beach in Panama City. He is preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers, and 5 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Anna Laura Argo, sons, Glenn H. (Mary Fay), Randy Joe (Debra), and Steve L. (Joyce), daughters, Rebecca Ann Adams (Norman), Patricia Lynn Hines (Steve), and Crystal Karen Katakam (Shawn), 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, brothers, Benny (Yvonne) and Jackie (Pam), sister, Ella Dean Moses (Hillman), and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm from the funeral home chapel. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
