H. Davis

H. Milton Davis, 89 of Roebuck passed away on December 9, 2008. He grew up in Columbiana in Shelby County. He was a manager with the Social Security administration and retired after 35 years of service, and was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Walter and Minnie Alice Davis and one sister, Beulah Sweatt. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth V. Davis and their daughters, Beverly Lavender (John) and Becky Reed (David); four grandchildren, Amy Lavender Rodgers(Joel), Daniel Lavender, Rachel Reed and Ariel Reed; two nieces, Joyce Rutherford (Harold) and Carol Waller (Jim). Visitation will be held on Friday beginning at 9AM with Chapel services beginning at 10AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Head officiating. Burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimers Researchers Foundation. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
