Guy Orr

Age 81, of Trussville, AL passed away. He is survived by his beloved family: son, David (Sarah) of Dayton OH and their daughters, Emily (Josiah) Knowles of Charlotte, NC, and Audrey Orr of Atlanta, GA; son, Brian (Tonya) and their daughters, Lauren and Amanda "Panda" Orr of Pelham, AL, and many dear friends. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Frances Finch Orr and parents, Guy Howard Orr and Thyrza Hamilton Orr. He graduated from Phillips HS in 1959, and served as a Paramedic for the City of Birmingham for 27 years. He enjoyed an active and adventurous life shared with wonderful friends. He started scuba diving in 1959, was a pilot and owned his own plane (Cessna 172) during the 1990s, enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating on Lake Martin, and was a wonderful husband and father to his children and grandchildren. Please send all memorials to the charity of your choice. A private graveside service for the immediate family and friends will be held at 10am, on July 18, 2022 at Jefferson Memorial.
