Guy “Sam” Hamrick, Jr., age 79, of Moody, AL passed away with his loving wife, Pam by his side on May 31, 2021. Sam was a wonderful husband with an amazing sense of humor. Sam was a caring and loving man who was always willing to help others. He had a beautiful partnership with his wife who he adored. He was a native of Birmingham, AL and was a graduate of Hewitt Trussville High School class of 1959. He went on to graduate from Auburn. He was the proud owner of Hamrick Equipment Service for over 30 years. He was a life-long member of the Zamora Temple and a mason. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela C Hamrick; his adoring puppies, Buttons and Toto; son, Mike Lawrence (Heather); daughters, Tamara Westcott and Pam Rakes; two grandchildren and one great grandchild. He also leaves behind his extended family, Gabe Shelton, Donna and Bill Hood and their two sons, Hunter and Fisher, Joe and Karla Johnson. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 4th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville. Friends and family will gather at Jefferson Memorial one hour prior to the service. Brother Norman Stapp will preside over the service.
