Grace Elliott

Grace Elizabeth Elliott, age 82 of Birmingham, passed away October 18, 2012 at East Glen Nursing Facility. She was a native of Hale County. Ms. Elliott retired as a caretaker for those with cerebral palsy, and was known for her pretty smile and friendliness towards everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva Averett and James Thomas Elliott, as well as a brother, Clarence Elliott and a sister, Beatrice Elliott. She is survived by her brother, J.B. Elliott and sister-in-law Judy Elliott, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for Ms. Elliott will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, with burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
