Born October 14, 1926 in Martinsburg, WV. Lived in Trussville AL. for forty-four years and passed on October 16, 2015 in Trussville AL. Goldie had many children both biological and those adopted in her heart. They are Gail and John LeMaster, Buck and Serita Martin, Marilyn and Ed Shockey, Terry and Marty Brenner and C. W. "Bill" Martin (deceased). Grandchildren are Johnny LeMaster (Kristin), Spike LeMaster (Dana), Kelley LeMaster Odom(Bebo), Tracy Shockey, Lara Shockey, Dawn Martin, Caron Martin, Augie Brenner (Lisa), Marc Brenner (Misty), and Bobby Parkinson. Great Grandchildren are Lindsey LeMaster, Brad LeMaster, Lacy LeMaster, Cody LeMaster, Jake LeMaster, Jenna LeMaster, A J Brenner, Logan Brenner, Kerith Brenner, Jonathan Kramer, Hali Blackburn, Kennedy Kimbrough, Kaytlyn Odom, Tristan Odom, Daniel Bonner, David Bonner and Kristen Wilkinson .Goldie and her husband E K Paine (deceased) started Amerex Fire Extinguisher Company in 1971 with their lifelong friends John Howard, Dave Nicodemus, Bill Markstrom and Norman Kesecker. Together they developed Amerex into the premiere fire extinguisher manufacturer in the world. Goldie then turned her attention to the International market and was President of Amerex Fire International selling extinguishers in 71 countries around the world. Under her guidance and leadership Amerex International had companies in the United Kingdom, South Africa and Australia. She was the President of the World Trade Association and earned and was awarded other honors too numerous to name. Honorary Pallbearers are "her girls" at Amerex Janis Price, Cathy Morris, Darlene Massey, Reba Glidewell, Fay Cornelius, Peggy Pennington, Mildred Putman, Dody Washington, Jeannie Greer and Sandy Needham. The Family would like to thank those people who were her special friends - Don Garvich, Vernon, Kathleen and Billy Braden, Jeff Brumlow, Scott Meyers and Peter Reich. The Family would also like to extend special thanks to Dr Robert Chadband for his help and support for many years. His consultations with us were comforting and the information he provided was of great value. He not only took care of her physical needs but he and Mrs. Chadband were her neighbors and friends. Goldie leaves this earth to join friends and family and forever be "side by side" with them in heaven. A Celebration of life will be held at Jefferson Memorial Home on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Memorial donations may be made to R.C.
