Golden Garner

Golden Canzady Adams Garner, age 89, of Birmingham, passed away at her home peacefully September 2, 2010. She was a retired florist and was a member of 25th Street Baptist Church in Center Point. She was preceded in death by her husband Granville B. Garner and daughter Carole Hurst. Services will be Saturday Sept 4 at 2pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Brother Mike Young officiating. Visitation will be from 12pm until 2pm Saturday. She is survived by her children Sarah Hicks, Sherry Taylor, Ben Garner Jr., Jimmie Garner, Phillip Garner, Rita Castleberry, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren, sister Vergie Mae Tidwell, sister in law Clara Caswell, brother in law Ted Garner, special friends Sarina Moseley, and Vellie Henderson.
