Gloria Wright

Gloria A. Wright, age 91, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. Autry & Lovie D. McCarthy, adopted parents Grady L. & Mary L. Anesworth, caring husband of 39+ years, William B. “Bill” Wright, and two sisters - Peggy Jane Fuqua (Fairhope, AL) and Bobbie Joyce Jordan (Axis, AL).

She is survived by her son Raymond Lee Hutto of Hoover, AL, and daughter Valerie Beasley of Jasper, AL.  She is also survived by four grandchildren- Christy Hutto Pender (Justin); Michael Beasley (Stephanie); Brandon Beasley (Macy) and Leanna N. Hutto, and six great-grandchildren -Brayden Beasley, Zoey Borden, Colby Pender, Ella Beasley, Rebecca Beasley, and Griffin Beasley.

Gloria loved music and played the piano beautifully.  For eight years pre-COVID she joyfully played the piano weekly for the residents at Shades Crest Rehab and Nursing home.  She recently played for the last time as a resident herself.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to one of her favorite charities or the charity of your choice.
