Gloria Argo

Gloria M. Argo, age 83 of Trussville passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at her home. She was born April 13, 1938 in Jasper, AL to Amy and William Jenkins. Gloria was a member of the Deerfoot Baptist Church in Trussville, AL; She worked for AmSouth Bank in Birmingham for more than 23 years before retiring. Gloria is survived by her loving son, Michael Argo, her cherished grandchildren; granddaughter, Lyndsey Clarke and a grandson, Jason Clarke (Jamie) and a great granddaughter, Haleyann Clarke a great grandson, Will Clarke. She is also survived by her sisters, Pat Hood (Jerry) and Janice Flanagan (Jonathan) her brothers, Tommy Jenkins, Roger Jenkins (Diane), Kenneth Jenkins and Randy Jenkins (Wanda) and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Gloria is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alvis E. Argo, her daughter, Vicky Folds; her son, Steven Argo a sister, Becky Thompson, two brothers, Wayne Jenkins and Raymond Jenkins. Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Glenn Sandifer The family will receive friends Saturday, August 28, 2021 beginning at 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm, followed with a 2:00 Chapel service at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Birmingham, AL. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
