Gertrude Persall

Gertrude H Persall, 94, of Birmingham, Alabama, Passed away Monday, January 31st, 2022 at home with family surrounding her. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and graveside service to follow on Friday, February 4th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens, 1591 Gadsden Highway Birmingham, AL 35235.
Gertrude was born December 8, 1927 in Tarrant, Al to Wiley and Jeanie Harris. She later resided in Center Point, Al with her late husband Marvin Persall, of 68 years. Gertrude was a homemaker and raised 3 children. Ray Persall, Larry Persall, and Janice White. She loved to cook, read, spend time with her grandchildren, and sew in her spare time.
Gertrude is survived by her son Larry Persall, daughter Janice White, granddaughters Ashlyn, Raven (Jonathan), Brandy (Bill), Tammy (Donnie), Alicia (Mike), and Jennifer (Robert). Along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
