Scroggins, George Maston "Mack", of Birmingham was received by Christ on March 4, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Essie Mae Dean Scroggins and George W. Scroggins, and his sister, Louise S. Benjamin. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Juanita Borden Scroggins, his daughters, Cynthia S. (Mike) Williams of Moody, Sandra S. Garner of Pinson, and his son, Michael D. (Teri) Scroggins of Trussville, brother James Scroggins of Trussville, grandchildren Brad Williams, Greg (Beth) Williams, Stan Rector, and Carlie Scroggins, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, Prissy. Mr. S. serviced in the US Navy from 1941 to 1946 and proudly served in the Naval Reserves for numerous years. Mr. Scroggins was a member of NorthPark Baptist Church in Trussville and the Abundant Life Sunday School Class. He was a retired steel worker and member of Local Ironworkers Union #92. Services will be held Monday March 7 at 2pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Sunday. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
