George Ogle

George M. Ogle, Jr., age 87, of Vestavia passed away on February 20, 2011. He was a member of Glen Iris Baptist Church where he was very active with the Radio Ministry WGIB. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during WWII. George retired from Bellsouth with 40 years of service. He is preceded in death by his sister, Katie Canant. His survivors include his loving wife of 18 years, Juanita D. Ogle; sons Glenn Ogle (Vickie), and Chris Ogle; step-daughters, Annette Davis, and Kim Thornton (Scott); sister, Dot Canant; granddaughter, Tessa Ogle; step-grandchildren, Christina Wheeler (Rusty), Ryan Howard (Tiffany), and Brittany Davis; step- great granddaughters, Chasity, Lexi, and Kaitlyn Wheeler, and Kennedi Howard. Services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 1pm at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Pastor Chris Lamb officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
